Another fantastic wedding cake produced by Huddersfield based Cakes by Leisa on the theme of Batman meets Doctor Who meets Harry Potter meets Alice in Wonderland's Mad Hatters tea party! This spectacular cake featured at a wonderful boho wedding at a Kenwood Hall Hotel in Sheffield on a stunning sunny day in September 2018. This is a highly unusual cake is quite different to the usual cakes we come across and different always add another element to a wedding for us, we like different! Leisa also makes conventional wedding cakes but is always interested in a commission for something extra special or out of the ordinary, well worth a try for any sort of cake.
It is lovely to see a cake which is a little different. It's not that we don't like traditional wedding cakes, we like all cake, perhaps a little too much, it is just it is nice to see that the bride and groom have the desire to be a little different and let some of their own personality shine through in the results of the cake they have chosen! We sometimes see some really lovely cake topper too such as this Star Wars one from a Star Wars themed wedding on, well it had to be May the forth AKA Star Wars day!
