The beautiful Cressbrook Hall in Derbyshire is one of the most fantastic wedding venues we have ever had the privilege to photograph at. This is a wonderful venue and one we had not come across before despite it being less than half an hour’s drive from our home in South-West Sheffield. As wedding photographers, see and get to visit all sorts of venues (some much more than others) but this is one venue that simply takes the breath away. This lovely couple at this fantastic venue are featured in a wedding album we have created from some of our favourite photographs from the wedding day. We had such a wonderful time photographing their wedding day, it really stands out as one of our all-time favourite weddings.
Nestled on a steep valley wall overlooking the River Wye and looking down along the valley towards Monsal Head it is an amazing place to spend a wedding day. Add to this some wonderful company with a fantastic and fun couple, their amazing family and friends it makes for one truly memorable day out. This image was captured with one of my wonderful Nikon D5's and the Nikon 17-35mm f/2.8 lens required to fit in the massive size of the building! If you are looking for a wedding venue that is a little bit different and nicely tucked away from the usual chaos of the world then this one is certainly worth a look.
