This photograph of our happy couple sharing a quiet and tender moment was taken following their wedding ceremony at the Hotel Van Dyk near Chesterfield in Derbyshire. The couple were married and were spending a few quiet minutes together just before they were announced into the reception room to meet their guests for their wedding breakfast.
The Hotel Van Dyk is a 4-star luxury hotel close to the historic Derbyshire town of Chesterfield. This hotel was the location of the second wedding we ever photographed and we hadn’t been back since until 2022, and oddly enough we were there not once but twice during the year, we hope it isn't too long until we return there again! It was a massive pleasure to return to the Hotel Van Dyk in 2022 after a fourteen year gap. During those intervening years, the hotel has undergone massive change, expansion and upgrading.
