Wedding photography at Kenwood Hall Hotel in Sheffield down by the beautiful lake. This wonderful wedding had the added fun of our typically random British summer. We had photographed a wedding here two days previously on the hottest day in the year only to have it followed two days later with what must have been the wettest day of the year! It rained hard from our arrival until the wedding party sat down for their wedding breakfast, at which point the rain stopped. In typical fashion around ten minutes before the end of the meal the rain started again and was even more vigorous, it didn't stop the bride and groom from wanting to take a wander around the grounds to grab some pictures beneath the white umbrella.
The lake at Kenwood Hall in Sheffield is one of the best features, even on a day like this when the rain never stopped. We like to take our bride and groom away from their wedding guests for a short time to allow them to unwind and spend some time together, it also allows us to capture some relaxed images of them together. Your guests will manage without you for a few minutes and it give them the perfect opportunity to head to the bar for a quick round of drinks.
