This was a lovely wedding at the Kenwood Hall Hotel in Sheffield. The bride and groom were massive fun to be around which always makes our day easier. Some couples seem to relax more easily and settle into the flow of the day, perhaps it is nerves but it rarely seems something you can point to such as unfamiliarity with public speaking or age. Some of the best wedding speeches we have seen have come from grooms who seemed petrified minutes before and have produced the most amazing off the cuff, heartfelt tributes imaginable from the top table.
This couple were at ease with themselves and at ease with the world and had a wonderful wedding, not even the continuous pouring rain could dampen their spirits. this photograph from their day shows them married at last and walking back down the isle to the applause of their invited family and friends. We did manage to get some photographs in the grounds but had to rely on an umbrella for some much needed shelter, but go outside we did and it was well worth it.
