Whirlowbrook Hall on the edge of Sheffield is A wonderful wedding venue located on the edge of the Peak District. The hall has some stunning grounds which are an absolute joy to spend time in with the happy couple. The photograph shown here was the first wedding at Whirlowbrook Hall following the reopening after the covid pandemic enforced lockdown (happy days). Back then, weddings were restricted to 30 people which included both of us working as photographers! Measures eased a couple of months later to exclude us from these numbers as we were like the waiting and bar staff working.
Despite all the restrictions we had a wonderful time at this couples wedding creating them some wonderful images to remember their wedding day by. The grounds here are amongst the best in the city, and probably much further afield as well. There are woods, manicured gardens, shaded walks through some sumptuous areas as well as some beautiful lawns. Almost every year we have been working as wedding photographers we have been lucky enough to photograph here, it is a highlight of our year, sometimes more than once a year if we are truly lucky, well worth a look if you want something truly beautiful.
