Engagement photo sessions or pre-wedding phot shoots are fantastic fun and create lots of opportunities both for the happy couple, and us as photographers. Unless you are both professional models, it is unlike you will have spent a great deal of time being the photographic centre of attention. For this reason pre-wedding photo shoots are a brilliant icebreaker to help you become accustomed to being photographed. It is also a brilliant way to get an image for a wedding day photo signing print. These are a large photo mount with an image from your pre-wedding photo shoot which you can use for your guests to write messages of congratulations on your wedding day.
The images seen here were captured on an engagement photography session in the Sheffield Botanical Gardens, a wonderful park only around a mile from the centre of the city. We had a wonderful late summer day for this couple ahead of their wedding at Cubley Hall near Sheffield. The late summer sun giving some wonderful colours and welcome warmth for this lovely couple. It can be hard work being a wedding photographer but it is also wonderful to meet such nice people and visit such fabulous locations, we are very lucky on many fronts.
