The photographs on these album pages were taken by us in beautiful orangery at Cressbrook Hall. This is a lovely room for a wedding reception, so light and bright which on this wedding day was the only source of light provided or required. We try as much as possible to photograph with available light and if as in this case it is a hundred percent natural daylight then all the better for us, and for the pictures we take for our couples.
There were some lovely details to photograph at the wedding which included the fantastic table centre pieces. While we might be considered artists through the pictures we produce, we still need some subject matter to photograph. As we undertake this photography work, we get to see some beautiful things that have been created by other wedding providers as well as the couples themselves. We never cease to be impressed by the ingenuity, skill, and creative ability of some of the people we meet in creating some wonderful things. Another example would be that cake. I'm sitting here typing this while looking at that cake and oh boy does it look good! I'm a fan of cake of almost every kind, but the cake here, sponge, cream and jam, my favourite, just like my Nan used to make for us back in the 70's, brilliantly simple! Keywords: bride & groom portrait (219), Cressbrook Hall (66), wedding breakfast (18), wedding cake (36).
