The "getting ready" part of the day doesn't just have to be about the bride! Although the primary focus on the morning of the wedding is on the bride if the bride and groom are getting ready at different locations, when they are both getting ready at the same place which is usually the wedding ceremony venue, then we can cover both. The album page seen above is from a wedding at the wonderful Cressbrook Hall near Buxton in Derbyshire. While I covered the bride getting ready, Deborah was able to join the boys as they prepared for the big day out.
While the bride and her bridesmaids were getting ready in the holiday cottages near the entrance to Cressbrook Hall, the groom and the groomsmen got ready in the main building. The image of the boys adjusting the waistbands on their waistcoats looks for all the world as if it is a staged photo which is not the case at all! This was just one of those terrific moments which with a little anticipation and a little luck just happens to work out if the photographer isn't distracted by something else. This was a lovely wedding with some super people definitely one of the highlights of our year at this lovely Derbyshire wedding venue.
