This wedding album page shows some of the photographs we took on the morning of a Sheffield city centre wedding day and includes details from this early part of a wedding day. This part of the wedding day known not unsurprisingly as the “getting ready” part is where the bride and the bridesmaids prepare themselves for the big day ahead. There is hair and makeup to be done for all the girls as well as at the same time as having some fun together! This can be a bit of an alien environment to a male wedding photographer, but I really enjoy the wide array of colours in the makeup set and the range of gadgets that both hair and makeup artists bring with them, I love gadgets!
On this album page, there are details of the bridal party getting ready for the wedding. Getting ready took place in the Bridal Suite at the Leopold Hotel in the centre of Sheffield. There are some details of the bride’s shoes are artistically posed on the handrail of some sweeping stairs within the hotel. Further images show the brides wedding dress hanging up neatly and ready to be worn once the hair and makeup are complete. The bride’s mother helps her daughter on with her head dress as the bridesmaids are also in the midst of getting ready.
