These are wonderful surroundings for a wedding ceremony and a fantastic place to take some pictures of the happy couple afterwards. The wedding ceremony took place in the J G Graves Woodland Discovery Centre which is in Ecclesall Woods just off Abbey Lane.
Following the ceremony, we spent some time photographing the bride and groom immediately behind the discovery centre building in Ecclesall Woods. The bride looked radiant in her beautiful wedding dress as we wandered the paths through this green wonderland seeking out some special locations for photographs of the couple.
There are some lovely walks through these woods, and they were super lucky to be blessed with a fine and sunny day for their wedding. The magnificent sunlight spilling through the tree canopy lighting the way for the bride and groom as we took picture after picture of our couple.
This was our first wedding here at the discovery centre and we would jump at the chance to photograph another. There is something wonderful about the woodland surroundings at any time of year and having a beautiful, happy and in love couple to photograph at such a fantastic location on such a beautiful summer day makes our work as wedding photographers even better.
