This photograph of the bride and groom was taken at a location known as the Surprise View in Derbyshire. The Surprise View is a beautiful place to visit, even if you are not photographing a couple on their wedding day and has an amazing view over the villages of in the Hope Valley including the nearest, Hathersage.
The wedding of our couple had taken place at the J G Graves Woodland Discovery Centre in Ecclesall Woods in Sheffield earlier in the day. The wedding reception was to be at Woodthorpe Hall in Holmesfield, Derbyshire, so it seemed an ideal opportunity for us all to make a slight diversion and stop off on the way to the reception to take some photographs of the bride and groom in this beautiful part of Derbyshire.
We are lucky to be based so close to the Derbyshire border in our south west Sheffield home. From here we are only a matter of minutes away from this wonderful, beautiful, and picturesque part of our country. We have photographed several Derbyshire weddings now and are always pleased to visit some of the new and exciting venues our couples choose to get married at. While we have photographed at many of the best known Sheffield and South Yorkshire wedding venues, we are starting to find many of our couples are requesting wedding photography at some Derbyshire venues which all adds to our enjoyment of creating wonderful pictures for our couples on their wedding days.
