Weddings are a wonderful time for friends and family to get together. These two wedding album pages show pictures of the guests arriving for the wedding ceremony at the J G Graves Woodland Discovery Centre in Ecclesall Woods in the suburbs of Sheffield. Weddings are a lovely, happy occasion to catch up with loved ones to meet with family members we sometimes don't see often enough. They are also a great time to reconnect with friends we might not have seen in a while. These album pages show some photographs from this important part of the wedding day as friends and family mix together and renew old friendships with guests from near and far ahead of the ceremony.
This was the first wedding we photographed at the Woodland Discovery Centre in Ecclesall Woods and hopefully it will not be the last! This is a really unusual wedding venue set amongst the trees in this ancient woodland only a couple of miles from the centre of Sheffield. Following the wedding ceremony, we spent some time walking with our happy couple amongst these beautiful trees in Ecclesall Woods. As our couple walked amongst the trees, we spent some time capturing some images of them as they relaxed and chatted together. We always encourage our couples to spend this quality time together following their wedding ceremony. It is a good time to relax and unwind a little following the ceremony and before continuing with the rest of the day’s activities.
Following the wedding ceremony at the discovery centre, the couple had requested some photographs together at the Surprise View overlooking the Hope Valley in Derbyshire and in Padley Gorge before finally moving on to their wedding reception at the magnificent Woodthorpe Hall which is located in Holmesfield, Derbyshire just over the border from Sheffield which can be seen in the following pages of the album.
