Wedding days are busy for us as photographers, but they are also very busy for the bride and groom. From the moment you get out of bed on the morning of the wedding, there isn’t a moments peace. From getting ready, hair and makeup, going to the ceremony, photographs, lots of photographs, the wedding breakfast, speeches, cutting of the wedding cake and the first dance, it’s non-stop! Then there is the constant stream of well-wishers all wanting to congratulate you both on your big day, non-stop morning until night. We were glad our couple could find a quiet moment to share over a glass of champagne together as we grabbed a picture of them on the magnificent stairs at Kenwood Hall.
The stairs in “the house” at Kenwood Hall are beautiful. The stairs like the rest of the building are from a time when the beauty of something was as important, if not more so than the functionality. We try to incorporate as many of these classic details into our wedding day coverage as we can.
