The ceremony is over and just the paperwork to do! The bride and groom are photographed here signing the wedding register, their witnesses then do the same. The last “must have” photograph for us to get right at the end of the wedding ceremony is the walk of the newly married couple back down the aisle. After this they leave the ceremony room and share a welcome drink with their guests as they receive congratulations from their family, friends, and the rest of the wedding guests.
It is always important to us to try to spot the important people in the bride and grooms’ life on a wedding day. To us and hopefully the bride and groom, these include parents, siblings, best friends but probably the most important as far as we are concerned are any grandparents. Here on the final image on this album page, the bride is congratulated by her grandmother following the wedding ceremony. Other than parents and any older siblings we might have, grandparents are the people who have probably been in our lives the longest, we are almost always very close to and form an important link to our past and our history. As with our parents, without our grandparents we would not be here, or certainly wouldn’t be who we are!
