Wedding Dress

This wedding album triptych has images from the “getting ready” part of the wedding day. In the first image, the bride peeks out from behind the bridesmaid’s dresses that we have carefully arranged to photograph. This wasn’t a staged photo, the bride just decided to have some fun and play peek-a-boo from behind the dresses, I think she was trying to put us off! Pictures like these from a wedding day are so much more authentic than stages pictures. While there almost always a need for some staged photographs such as family formals when groups need to be arranged, candid photography of things that just naturally happen are much more realistic and more meaningful to the people concerned.

The second photograph of the three is of the brides wedding dress hanging to display it to best effect. This was such a delicate dress it was really awkward to photograph on a hanger, it looked much better when it was on the bride.

In the final image of the sequence, the bride is fastening her wedding shoes and is almost ready to greet her father for the journey to the wedding room.

Kenwood Hall Hotel Wedding Photography

We love photographing weddings at the Kenwood Hall hotel in Sheffield. There are such wonderful grounds to the hotel which give us some lovely photographic opportunities with the bride and groom. The rooms in which the brides spend the night before their weddings should they choose to spend them at the hotel are beautiful and specious, it is just such a lovely place for us to work with some many lovely features to weave into our wedding day coverage.

The Kenwood Hall Hotel is located in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, UK on Kenwood Road, S7 1NQ. Their Website can be found at https://www.kenwoodhall.co.uk/weddings/
