This is one of my favourite images from this particular wedding day as the bride and groom kiss beneath the trees in grounds of Ringwood Hall Hotel in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. The couple had married earlier in the day at St. Thomas' Church in Old Whittington in Chesterfield followed by their wedding reception at Ringwood Hall. As well as being one of my favourite images from the day, it has to be one of my favourite images from a wedding I've personally taken. While we sometimes fall lucky with the weather, the sun shining through the trees really lifts the picture. The day hadn't started like this, torrential rain accompanied us along the Dronfield bypass on the way to the brides home on the morning of the wedding but luck was with us as the rain cleared.
This image together with many others were put into this album comprised of images from the day. The grounds of Ringwood Hall Hotel are simply stunning and quite large, a wonderful place to walk around particularly as you create some art for you couple to look back on from the future which is after all the reason we are there, to record and document the day for our couples.
