This is one of my favourite photographs from this Kenwood Hall Hotel wedding. I love the colours of the autumn leaves which can be seen in the background of this photograph which was taken in the grounds of Kenwood Hall during this wedding which took place in early November just as the colours were at their finest. This wedding was one of my favourites to photograph during the year, the weather was perfect, the venue was and remains as spectacular as ever and the bride and groom were an absolute delight to work for.
We began the day with the bride at Taylor-Taylor on Surrey Street in Sheffield for hair and makeup for the bridal party. Following this we made our way back to Kenwood Hall to photograph the remainder of the bridal preparations in the bridal suite. This can be a really fun part of the day for us as photographers and can set the mood for the rest of the day’s photography. We had such fun photographing the bride, bridesmaids, and the brides mum. We took all the usual photographs we would normally take during the getting ready part of the day, the wedding dress, jewellery, flowers and shoes before we all moved on to the old part of Kenwood Hall for the wedding ceremony itself.
Following the wedding ceremony, we whisked the bride and groom away for a few minutes into the grounds of Kenwood Hall to take some couples portraits of them amongst the wonderful and warm autumn colours before returning inside to warm up and allow the newlyweds to greet their guests ahead of the wedding breakfast. A truly fantastic day out at the Kenwood with Suzanne and Chris on their special day, one of our favourite weddings at one of our favourite wedding venues in Sheffield.
