Cressbrook Hall near Buxton in Derbyshire is one on the most magnificently located wedding venues we have been lucky enough to visit. The hall is perched high up on the valley side above the River Wye on a bend in the river above the village of Cressbrook. In one direction is Buxton and in the other, just out of site is the magnificent Monsal Head viaduct very close to the village of Little Longstone.
We still continue to be surprised by the number of these wonderful and grand houses there are tucked away in Great Britain. Year after year we are invited to photograph at another wonderful location we had perhaps heard of but had not visited. Then there are the venues we have not come across and these included at the time of the enquiry from the wonderful couple who booked us, Cressbrook Hall. We are so monumentally glad the did choose us to photograph their Cressbrook Hall wedding as it turned out to be one of the highlights of the year. The weather was perfect, the sun shone all day and the quality of the light at this beautiful Derbyshire location lifted our wedding photographs produced on the day to another level!
