Mosborough Hall Hotel on the outskirts of Sheffield is a wonderful location for wedding photography and one of the loveliest wedding venues in or around Sheffield. The hotel has a mix of architectural styles with the hall itself dating back to the 17th century and retaining many period features. This is one of our favourite wedding venues in and around Sheffield and we are always happy to return here to photograph another couples big day. There are some beautiful grounds to the hotel which make a beautiful setting for wedding photos.
Any time day the hall looks beautiful and impressive. I often think when photographing the hall at night as the lights from inside filter out into a lovely evening, just how wonderful and inviting to anyone passing by.
Located on the edge of Sheffield, in earlier times the village of Mosborough was in Derbyshire but is now part of Sheffield. The hall does though remain close to its former Derbyshire home. This wonderful building dates back to the 17th century and was lovingly restored in the mid 1970's to an incredibly high standard still evident today. The hall retains many original features and is set in some beautiful grounds with plenty of mature trees which can be used as a fantastic natural background to wedding images.
