Throwing the confetti is always a massively fun part of the wedding day for the wedding guests, frequently much more fun for them than the happy couple! This is the time for the assembled guests to actively participate in the days events rather than just spectate. For us reviewing the images after the wedding, it is often amusing to see some of the expressions on the faces of the newly married couples as their guests throw small pieces of paper or rose petals in their general direction, one might almost think they were expecting house bricks!
Here we see our lovely Bride and Groom in a blizzard of confetti thrown by their excited guests following their Whirlowbrook Hall in Sheffield wedding. This was our first wedding back after lockdown in June 2021, and was, because of the limitations in place at the time limited to thirty people. Despite the relatively diminished wedding party, the guests managed to put on a wonderful confetti shower display of rose petals in front of the magnificent Whirlowbrook Hall.
