Whitley Hall Hotel in Sheffield is a wonderful place for wedding photography and indeed a wonderful place to get married. Whitley Hall is one of the premier wedding venues in the Sheffield if not the region and one of our favourite places for photographing weddings. Dating back to the fifteenth century, the hall retains many original features making this a special place for those appreciating historic buildings and desiring to marry in one of the oldest, most atmospheric, and spectacular wedding venues in the area. As well as being able to host full wedding days, Whitley Hall also caters for wedding receptions following for example, a church wedding elsewhere.
We have photographed many weddings here in these wonderful surroundings over the years. The stunning grounds at Whitley Hall only add to the magic of this beautifully picturesque venue with some lovely places around the grounds for wedding day pictures.
The grounds to the hotel are extensive and lend themselves to some wonderful photography opportunities on a wedding day including the fantastic pier over the lake which is a truly stunning location. Conveniently located on the outskirts of the city there are excellent links into Sheffield and nearby Barnsley and Rotherham in addition to the motorway network to the rest of the country.
